The leadership course has been designed to introduce
students to some of the multiple theories of leadership in order to explore
their own style, appreciate, and work with differing leadership styles in the
future. The curriculum is intended to
allow students to facilitate their own learning experience by creating and
organizing a proposal for an event for TRIO SSS students. Through cooperative learning and experiential
activities (including video conferences - with different national and international leaders
from various industries), students will be able to take the skills and
knowledge they learn in the class and apply it to real world situations at SOU,
their communities and in their professional fields and careers.
