    • Important Notice

      Turnitin has revised the terms of its End User License Agreement (EULA) to clarify elements related to AI detection. As a result, beginning July 7, 2026 ALL users will be required to renew their agreement to these terms the next time they submit a response to an activity with Turnitin enabled. 

      Two important things to know:

      1. SOU does not use Turnitin's AI detection feature; your work will not be analyzed by Turnitin for AI influences.
      2. The new EULA has not yet been provided by Turnitin. The terms and conditions linked to this article are those in effect up to July 7 and do not reflect the new terms.
