Required for all Honors College students with sophomore standing or higher, students will consider numerous forms of leadership, and critically evaluate leadership styles and contributions of various historical and contemporary figures. Prerequisite(s): Restricted to Honors College students with sophomore standing or above.
We will adopt a case-study approach, examining several diverse leaders. Students will gain a greater understanding of the challenges associated with effective leadership and consider the various ways that they may adopt different types of leadership positions. For their final projects, students will analyze a leader of their choosing, in consultation with Prof. Walcher, or a contemporary leadership challenge chosen in consultation with Prof. Walcher.
