Students in this section of University Seminar will continue to focus on developing skills in reading, public speaking, critical thinking, and writing, as you, the student, explore assigned readings, videos, and other materials. Specifically, students will focus on argument, claim, support, and evidence to create a basis for their beliefs. Class discussion is a large part of this class so participation is essential. You’ll focus on who you are, how you fit into your society, and how you can be a positive force in the world.
