Tarana Burke is an activist and community leader from NYC. She started the "Me Too" movement in 2006 as a way of connecting primarily with other women abuse survivors. In this particular interview she speaks about the necessity of teaching children about consent at an early age and how to set boundaries. Tarana speaks on how to model this for children to build up children's self-worth, especially in a marginalized community. Tarana's memoir Unbound is heartbreakingly wonderful and also worth checking out She is a phenomeonal woman.
