This course teaches students the fundamental principles and foundational skills for acting.  Students will utilize various methods including basic improvisational exercises as well as Stanislavski-based techniques, among others. This class is open to all levels of experience and is intended to address the basic fundamentals of acting through exploration of given
circumstances, character objectives, tactics and developing presence. Students will be expected to rehearse outside of class so please set aside some time during the week to prepare as needed. This will be especially important once we dive into scene work, as you will each be assigned scene partners.
